THURSDAY THIRTEEN

If money were no object, what would I do? Well, well...let's get started!

1. I would absolutely pay off every bill we owe. Every last single one of them. I know it's pretty impossible to be completely debt free but this is Thursday Thirteen so anything is possible.

2. I would pay whatever it takes to get a professional landscaper here to finish the front yard, the side of the house and completely re-do what Andy and I started in the back yard. I totally dread next summer because that will be our summer project.

3. I would buy my husband a new Toyota Tacoma since that was what he REALLY wanted when we went truck shopping last month. He was a teeny bit disappointed but there was not a decent deal to be found on the Tacoma's. I'm glad he's warmed up to the Tundra but that's the truck I would buy for Andy-man.

4. I would buy Andy and I another house. This one would have 5 bedrooms, 2 baths, tons of open space, a three car garage and a fully landscaped yard!

5. I would then hire someone to come organize that dream house. I swear, that is my biggest downfall...I am so un-organized. So un-organized, in fact, that I drive myself crazy! That's bad, huh?

6. I would, without a doubt, start a college fund for Cameron. I know how hard it was for my mom and dad when I was in school and I see how hard it is for me now trying to pay off the loans!!!

7. Personal trainer, personal trainer, personal trainer...need I say more?

8. I love my vet, trust me, but if I had the money I would find a puppy specialist who could fix my dog for good. I feel awful for her!

9. I would buy my parent's movie tickets for whatever movies they wanted to see whenever they wanted to see them. They used to go to the movies all the time and I don't remember the last movie they saw!

10. I would buy my parent's their dream house - that older southern style house with the big wrap-around porch. Said house would be three doors down from my dream house...in case any of you were wondering!

11. I would buy my hubby a boat...not a hugemongous boat but one that he would love to take fishing. He could pull this boat with the new Tacoma I would buy him as well.

12. OK, now this may sound strange to some people...but I would havemoney put away for my next c-section delivery. We have good insurance but even good insurance doesn't foot the entire bill for a c-section and three and half days in the hospital. You know, they charged Andy and I $980.00 for every day that Cam stayed in the nursery? Funny, because he spent all but one day in our room with us! One year later and I am still paying off that bill- one of the reasons for #1.

13. Season tickets to the Colorado Avalance, baby!!!!!!!!

Wouldn't it be fun if this were real? Life just isn't like that for most of us, but it is fun to dream. xoxoxo

Wasnt this a fun one to do? We all have that list in our head anyway. I'm all for posts that are already in there floating around, not having to be pulled up with as much effort as childbirth is!

Debt free - have you read Dave Ramsey, Financial Peace? Have you ever heard of debt snowballing? If not, run to the bookstore and get his book. Seriously changed our finances, as well as all our kids. Great way to pay off debts faster thats so simple you just wouldnt think of it by yourself.

It never occurred to me to spend some of that money to send Don to all the Bronco games. He would love that! Fun list! By the way, keep in mind one reason Martha is so perfect is she has 99 people who keep her organized. You know, she comes up with the ideas but somebody else does all the work...

Krissy-Girl, please tell Andy that I completely understand his Tacoma-obession! I, myself, am a little crazy about Tacomas, and I haven't gotten one yet either. Maybe some day. I love the Nissan Frontier too, but I think they are even more expensive. Alas, no trucks for now.

On a happier note, I so agree with the personal trainer idea. I think I'm going to be in deperate need of one in a very few months!

Question- What's wrong with your dog? And just so you know, despite the fact that I am a member of the Pet-Purging Family, I have NEVER gotten rid of a pet. I actaully try to sneak more into our lives anytime I get the chance! So, I am asking in all sincerity. Promise.

I will definately have to get that book, Aunt Bev. No one has been more obsessed with paying off bills than me. Seriously, I get excited when they come in the mail because I know I am getting closer to paying them off! Sick, huh?

Les- my poor sweet Princess Codilums...she has this weird skin disease called Pinfhagus Folacious (spelled WAY wrong but I just sounded it out). It's awful...it's where the layers of her skin attack each other so instead of forming new skin she get's horrible scabs on her nose, head, feet and tummy. It's awful and makes me very sad. I might do a post on it even though it's terribly depressing to me. Thanks for asking about my "daughter". :)

The only reason you want to buy Andy a truck is so that you can have the tundra all to yourself. Admit it.

When you pay off your bills, will you pay mine off too? I mean, money is no object right? I already spent all mine on thirteen things. Maybe I will sell Aaron's boat.

Don't forget that if you have a daughter, a wedding fund is not a bad idea...
